We have been preserving tradition and culture of Japanese umbrellas for over three hundred years.
Our hope is to introduce and bequeath the beauty of Japanese umbrellas to the world from historical Kyoto, wishing that people in the world, not only in Japan, would love Kyoto and Japan-made wagasa, the washi-made umbrellas and parasols.
Established in 1690, Tsujikura is proud to maintain the tradition and culture kept for more than 300 years. Please feel our passion to pursue authenticity.
There are three types of Wagasa: an umbrella (Wagasa), a parasol for dancing (Maigasa) and a parasol (Higasa).
