▪Kyo-yuzen Japanese paper
“Jizome” is the process of dyeing the base of the entire washi.
Next comes the “Irosashi” process, in which the paper is dyed using a mold frame. It is repeated as many times as the number of colors.
Finally, the paper is dried with a hot plate and warm air to produce gorgeous hand-dyed Yuzen Japanese paper.
