A draftsman who has been drawing various patterns at Nariken for 30 years has drawn classical patterns on Japanese paper that will be used as a Japanese umbrella.

■Ayame Yatsuhashi
Yatsuhashi is a bridge made of short planks connected to each other.
It’s for strolling so that you can take your time and love the flowers.
This is a design of eight bridges and irises by Korin Ogata(1658-1716), the central artist of the Rimpa school.
The underpainting was done on Japanese paper by Nariken’s draftsmen, who are known for their realistic expression based on the Rimpa school, as well as the elegance of Kyo-Yuzen.
Each of the carefully painted irises is decorated with gold.
This is a refined and gorgeous piece that expresses luxury in a casual manner.
■Only one in the world
This product is hand-painted by a kimono draftsman and is therefore one-of-a-kind.
It is used as a Japanese parasol as a gift for an important person, as a gift to celebrate anniversaries such as Sanju(80th birthday), or as a Japanese interior decoration.
