Janome (Slender umbrella)
花紫と漆黒の二色配色の雨傘です。『和傘をさして、雨をしのぐだけではなく雨を楽しんでもらいたい。』そんな気持ちで和傘を手仕事で制作しています。
Bangasa (Sturdy umbrella)
This is a sturdy, old-fashioned Bangasa made of bamboo and Japanese paper. The Japanese paper is coated with vegetable oil specially designed for Japanese umbrellas to make it waterproof, so it can be used on rainy days.
Janome (Slender umbrella)
This is an umbrella with a traditional crescent moon design. A gorgeous chrysanthemum arabesque pattern is applied around the moon in a calm Riku color.
The ume motif is said to have been favored by Sen no Rikyu. It is considered a symbol of prosperity of offspring due to the fast growth, perseverance, and vitality of the ume tree, and is also considered a lucky pattern representing the New Year.
