Located very close to the famous Murasakino temple, Daikoku-ji Temple’s main gate, is the newly opened shop and craft workshop “Kyoto Oharibako.” Beautiful hair ornaments and accessories handmade by craftspeople are made and sold here.
The shop purchased a stencil-dyed patterned umbrella and has added a light to it as part of their shop display. It perfectly matches Oharibako’s atmosphere. All the hair ornaments on display in the shop can be freely tried on, and it is possible to see them being made by craftspeople in the demonstration booth.
