Special Selection Bangasa Umbrella, Ichimatsu Pattern "Bengara" (Red Oxide)

■Special Selection Bangasa: Ichimatsu

A Bangasa (coarse oil-paper umbrella) featuring a bold, deep black Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern on natural-colored Washi paper.

The Ichimatsu pattern is a classic design consisting of alternating squares.
Because the pattern continues without interruption, it has long been cherished as an auspicious motif symbolizing prosperity and development.

■ Ichimatsu Bangasa "Bengara"

A Bangasa featuring a deep Bengara-red Ichimatsu pattern on natural-colored Washi paper.

Bengara is a calm, reddish-brown color that has been used in Japanese architecture and crafts since ancient times.
It possesses a refined, understated elegance amidst its vibrancy, blending beautifully into Japanese-style interiors.

Because the squares of the Ichimatsu pattern continue without interruption, it has long been cherished as an auspicious motif symbolizing prosperity and development.

The soft brightness of the natural Washi paper and the deep, warm tone of the Bengara red resonate together, creating a presence that is both stylish and sophisticated.

The black ribs tighten the overall look, giving this umbrella the strength and dignity expected of a traditional Bangasa.

A dignified Bangasa by Tsujikura, crafted with a subdued color palette that highlights the beauty of this traditional pattern.
