~Handmade by craftsmen~
We are doing a step called "tsunagi" in the process of making Japanese umbrellas.
The bamboo bones are attached one by one to a part called a wheel with string. There are more than 40 bones, making it a very delicate piece.
Each part is handmade by a craftsman.
Once the joining work is complete, the next step is to lay down the washi paper.
