We are pleased to announce a new piece from our Japanese Painting Series.
Against a wintry sky, white and red plum blossoms bloom gracefully, their delicate fragrance evoked on ivory-toned unryūshi (cloud dragon paper).
The design captures the refined elegance of the Rinpa style, featuring techniques such as tarashikomi (drip blending) and soft ink bleeding.
It would make a wonderful choice for celebrating the New Year.
The parasol crafted from this artwork is scheduled to be completed by the end of next month.
