Tokusen Tsukuyakko: "Crimson Autumn Leaves"
"Tsukiyakko" is a traditional "janome" (bullseye pattern) umbrella featuring a crescent moon design, a motif long cherished by those with a refined aesthetic.
Representing a moonlit night, this single Japanese umbrella stands out for the striking beauty of its contrast in light and shadow. It is an exceptionally beautiful umbrella that showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of its makers.
"Deep Crimson with Autumn Leaves"
This striking umbrella centers on a deep, rich crimson, featuring a paper made by gathering individual fallen leaves according to the season and incorporating them through a traditional papermaking process, finished with gold and silver leaf scattered throughout the translucent paper.
It is a design that is as elegant as it is vibrant, making it a perfect match not only for traditional kimono attire but also for photography and stage productions.
The powerful red color is a symbol of "protection" and "celebration," adding a touch of prestige to any space regardless of the season. The autumn leaf pattern creates a soft, lingering impression, evoking the poetic scenery of the changing seasons.
When displayed as an ornamental piece indoors, its presence instantly transforms any room into a Japanese-style space.
It is an exquisite piece that allows you to experience the reliability of traditional construction and handiwork.
