TSUJIKURA-005

A lamp crafted by a wagasa (Japanese umbrella) maker.

The soft light of washi paper
gently enhances any space.

Its rounded form and
traditional Japanese pull switch.

It blends naturally not only with Japanese-style rooms
but also with Scandinavian and modern interiors.

By day, admire the beautiful texture of the washi paper.
By night, let it be a calming light.

Tsujikura, a wagasa maker with 335 years of history,
has expressed the charm of washi paper, which they have cherished in wagasa making,
as a modern household light.

The main materials used are
Japanese washi paper and bamboo.

Enjoy the softly diffused light and
the warmth unique to natural materials.

Every time you turn on the light,
you'll feel a sense of nostalgia from
the traditional pull switch.

Enjoy the unique charm of this Japanese light,
a rarity overseas.

For your living room.
For your bedside.
Even for creating a tranquil atmosphere like a ryokan (Japanese inn).

It's Tsujikura's light,
quietly close by.
