Kurenai Tomoe – Maple Leaves
A bold crimson wagasa featuring the timeless Japanese Tomoe motif.
Subtle openwork maple leaves emerge in the light, adding depth and seasonal elegance.
Handcrafted from waterproof washi and bamboo, this is a statement piece of refined tradition.
Kurenai Tomoe – Maple Leaves
A vivid crimson ground, brought to life by the dynamic flow of the Tomoe motif—one of Japan’s most enduring traditional patterns.
Symbolizing the movement of water and the circulation of energy, Tomoe has long been regarded as an auspicious design associated with harmony, protection, and strength.
Within its white circular forms, delicate openwork maple leaves are quietly embedded.
As light passes through the surface, these leaves softly appear, creating a layered expression unique to handcrafted washi.
The rich crimson color represents vitality and celebration.
Combined with the seasonal elegance of autumn maple leaves, this piece offers both visual impact and poetic refinement.
A wagasa that balances bold presence with fine craftsmanship—
designed to elevate both traditional attire and modern styling.
