TSUJIKURA-003

Lighting by a Wagasa maker

Soft light
through washi paper.

A stepped shape that creates shadows when illuminated,
and a Japanese-style pull switch.

Its appearance changes depending on the viewing angle,
adding a quiet presence to any space.

It blends naturally into Japanese-style spaces,
modern interiors, and
hotel-like environments.

Enjoy the beautiful texture of washi paper during the day.
At night, it becomes a light that gently envelops the space.

Tsujikura, a wagasa maker with 335 years of history,
has brought the charm of washi paper, which it has cherished through wagasa making,
to modern everyday lighting.

The main materials used are
Japanese washi paper and bamboo.

You can enjoy the soft texture unique to washi paper
and the warmth of natural materials.

An old-fashioned pull switch
that evokes a sense of nostalgia
every time you turn on the light.

Enjoy the unique charm of Japanese lighting,
which is rare overseas.

For your living room.
For your bedside.
Also for creating a calming atmosphere,
like in a ryokan or hotel.

This is Tsujikura's light,
accompanying your quiet moments.
