collaboration

We produce original Japanese umbrellas together with various companies and artists.
We plan and select materials together with our customers and then produce the product.

It will take some time to complete, but we will make an original Japanese umbrella for you.

Collaboration Examples

"Disney/Kyoto Traditional Crafts Series"

This time, we are pleased to participate in the "Disney/Kyoto Traditional Crafts Series", realizing a collaboration between the world-famous characters "Mickey Mouse" and "Minnie Mouse" and Tsujikura's Japanese umbrellas.

In this collaboration, we will be using a technique called "kiritsugu" in Japanese parasols.
Using highly advanced techniques of cutting, gluing and joining,
Mickey and Minnie are depicted using handmade washi paper dyed in different colors.
