-Matte janome pattern-
As there are many ukiyoe paintings of beautiful women holding a japanese patterned umbrella, this design has been popular for a long time. Tsujikura’s japanese pattern has been created in a variety of colors in addition to the white ring japanese pattern.
The “Matte Janome” is a revival of the traditional Japanese umbrella design, using black bamboo for the handle and wood for the parts that hold the umbrella in place.
The lacquer applied to the umbrella bone is matte black. The deep and soothing texture of the lacquer, rather than the glossy lacquer of the past, enhances the chic look of the umbrella when it is opened.
Tsujikura has breathed new life into the traditional snake’s-eye pattern, which has been handed down from our predecessors, while preserving it.
-Jet black with Misora-
Jet black with a ”Misora-iro” color in the center circle.
This unique and impactful Japanese umbrella can be used as a Japanese interior decoration.
Even a single one has a great presence.
