This umbrella is made of handmade Japanese paper dyed in the color of dew grass and bamboo, and is hand-made by skilled craftsmen. Only a few of these are produced each year.
The "Matte-black jyanome" is a revival of the traditional Japanese umbrella, using black bamboo for the handle and wood for the parts that hold the umbrella together. The lacquer used for the bones of the umbrella is matte black. The lacquer coating on the umbrella bones is matte black, which is not the glossy lacquer used in the past, but a deep and calm texture that enhances the chic atmosphere of the umbrella when it is opened.
Janome (Slender umbrella)
Janome" is a traditional and prestigious Japanese umbrella with an impressive white ring. Usuzakura is a gentle peach-colored Janome umbrella.
The light blue ground with a floral Temari pattern and Koetsu brown eaves make this Wagasa even prettier and gentler.
The Temari pattern has a meaning of "for a child to grow up roundly" and "for everything to settle down roundly".
